NEW THINGS AND BUG FIXES
- A number of horse routes throughout the classic zones have been modified to be more convenient. In addition, flight routes have been added to provide a faster mode of transportation to and from certain locations.
- Several travel ticket names in housing have been changed to refer to the name of the location they go to as opposed to the name of the stable master they go to.
- The in-game '/help' menu has been updated to reflect the travel route changes.
- A new, more visible, quest indicator has been added which replaces the previous ring around the feet. The new indicator floats above the quest giver's head.

In Version 1.94, we addressed the various housing options available to players and made some adjustments. We wanted to make larger homes a more viable choice, as opposed to owning two smaller homes, by lowering the prices of both deeds and rent, as well as add additional vault space to accommodate the growing need for more storage. In addition to the housing changes, we have added the "Rest Experience" feature, which allows players to accumulate a certain amount of bonus experience that is built up based on where they log out.
As we move forward onto future patches, we will continue to add more updates to housing and expand upon other elements that have made Dark Age of Camelot thrive. The changes in this ...

* Dispel effects will no longer attempt to remove effects that have 100% dispel resistance.
* Parry Rating, Defense Rating, and Block Rating: Low-level players will now convert these ratings into their corresponding defensive stats at the same rate as level 34 players.
* Haris Pilton has launched a new line of bags and jewelry. Check her out in the World’s End Tavern!
* Mounts at 30?! Yes, it’s true: Apprentice Riding and mounts are now available at level 30. Training costs 35 gold.
* Blood Elf flightmasters outside of Silvermoon City and Tranquillien have traded in their bats for glorious fire-breathing dragonhawks.
* Alcohol cooldowns have been rolled into Drinks: All 10-second cooldowns have been removed and replaced with the 1-second Drink cooldown.
* Numerous flying non-combat pets have had their flight height modified to no longer skim along the ground: captured firefly, dragonhawk hatchlings, moths, owls, parrots, phoenix hatchling, ...

Hello Dark Age of Camelot and fellow Players,
Many of you have already participated in the new server poll we have been conducting to gauge interest in what we are calling the ‘Origins’ server ruleset, also referred to as an ‘Old Frontiers’ server. I would like to thank everyone who has participated so far, as well as thank those who have provided the incredible amount of constructive feedback we have received through the Herald and through the various message forums relevant to DAoC. My team and I were pleasantly surprised by how much interest this poll has generated. The poll is still available to the public on the Herald, and we are still watching its results with great interest.
We have received numerous questions regarding this poll and ruleset. Our Community Team has been working on a FAQ that is now available on the Herald. Also, later this week, we will be organizing two IRC c ...

Welcome to 1.94!
As noted in a recent Grab Bag (http://www.camelotherald.com/news/news_article.php?storyid=3522), there were some engineering delays that prevented the content for 1.94 to be ready for release at the same time 1.93 was to go live. Rather than delay 1.93, it was decided to go live and deploy 1.94 to Pendragon at a later date.
Under the new patching plan that was started at the end of last year (http://www.camelotherald.com/news/news_article.php?storyid=3314), we’ve been attempting to get most of a new patch up to Pendragon at the start of the patch cycle. In the case of 1.94, we’re going to change it up slightly so that we can deliver some content for players to test now while the rest of the changes are being finished.
